Michael Hartley Obituary
HALFMOON – Michael K. Hartley, 86, of Halfmoon passed away on Sunday morning, November 30, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Green Island a son of the late Joseph and Rita (Belrose) Hartley. He was raised on Green Island and graduated from Heatly High School.
Michael was employed for over forty years with Manning Lydell, Inc. retiring in 1998. He proudly served for six years with the Army National Guard.
He was predeceased by his twin brother, John and his sister, Patricia Finning.
Michael is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlene M. (Brennan) Hartley; his two sons, Mark (Janice) and Matthew (Stacey); his grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica and his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Jayce and Felix. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Heffern and his brother, Richard Hartley.
Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet.
