One year ago today we lost you. Never believed your passing would affect me in such a way. Our children lost a father they loved very much. It hurts that you will never know what it's like to be a grandfather one day .I will always remember you picking the leaves bare in front of my building in the Bronx ... Wow still seems unreal. How easy it was for you to make. People laugh I will miss you always ....

From the 1st time he worked for me at Collins it was nothing but laughs and good times on the job.His nickname peekaboo was a great story, he was a great guy. RIP Michael. To his family in this hard time remember the good times!

Wisk, a gentle giant and an all around great guy. I will miss you and your facebook posts, old friend.

To our old Bronx friend, Terri. Also, Maggie & the entire family. We were so saddened to hear about the passing of your brother. I wish we could be there so my brother Joey could tell you the story of how we met "Wisk" for the first time. NOT on Mosholu Parkway, but when we lived on 207th Street (as he jumped into our little 'backyard,') being chased by God knows who, for God knows what! We helped him hide (by covering him in catchers equipment & throwing baseballs to him. Funny stuff, as he was a very funny guy.

He never forgot that story, and neither did we. We went on to be neighbors.

He will be missed. I share this with you in the hopes that you can rely on your many happy memories to get you all through this most difficult time, I will have a Mass said for Michael, and will be praying for all of you.

I wonder if their is graffiti in heaven ? :)

May Michael Rest In Peace

w/love,
Jimmy Salerno on behalf of our family
