Michael Heil Obituary
LIMA -- Michael "Mike" Heil, 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Upstate New York on January 19, 2024. Mike was born May 22, 1949 to Robert and Janice (Buck) Heil who proceeded him in death. In 1974, he married Joyce A. (Meredith) Heil who survives in Springfield, OH.
Mike worked his entire life at his families business, Lima Asphalt and Paving, from which he retired in 2021. He took great pride in his work and loved his crew like family. Mike enjoyed Golfing at Shawnee Country Club, Bowling, nights at LimaLand watching the races and was a die-hard fan of the Cleveland Browns.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his children: Amy (Anthony) Pennick of Grafton, NY , Scott (Jennifer) Heil of Eaton, OH, Michelle (Lucas) Shanefelt of Eaton, OH, Robert Niebel of Springfield, OH, his grandchildren: Chad (Novia) Niebel, Casondra Collins, Claryssa Collins, Braydon Shanefelt, Colten Shanefelt, Christopher Shanefelt, Jakelyn Niebel, and Rivr Niebel, along with 13 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services.
