He was born in Elizabethtown to Chester Hill and Alene Beeler (Charlie) Gardner. He was a mechanic located on Ft. Knox working on vehicles ranging from auto to heavy equipment, as well as working on helicopters in the Army for 4 years.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Hill of Elizabethtown, KY. mother, Alene Gardner of Elizabethtown, KY, son, Michael (Allison) Hill of Elizabethtown, KY, daughters, Ericka Hill of Elizabethtown, KY, Carolynn Goode of Georgetown, IN, Shalene Samuel of Jeffersonville, IN, and Kaitlyn (Cody) Evans of Elizabethtown, KY, one sister, Elizabeth (Mark) Williams of Elizabethtown, KY, and 9 grandchildren, Caleb, Landon, Makyna, Memphis, Xander, Logan, Dayton, Matthew, and Tatum.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 15, 2025 11:00 am at the Manakee Funeral Home in Upton, KY with Bro. Mark Williams officiating. Burial will be held at the Weldon Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Manakee Funeral Home in Upton.
