A life too brief but so very bright. Michael was always a joy to talk to-so smart and mischievous and yet always kind. My condolences to Therese and Kalypso. I regret I am out of town and won´t be able to attend the celebration of Michael´s life. He will be missed by many but always remembered fondly.

My heart is so heavy. Dr.Homan was hilarious. He was my intro to theology professor and he kept the class laughing. It was a pleasure to meet him this semester. May God rest his soul.

So very sad to hear about Mikes passing, such a bright and talented man. He will be missed by so many, in so many different arenas. We are thinking and praying for all his family.

Years ago, Michael came to our sukkah party with young Gil in tow and both were delightful guests. Over time, getting to know and see more of you all has been a joy. It was a shock to Dan and me to hear of his passing. His memory will always be for a blessing, I know, but if only we all had that gift of more time with Michael. Hugs to you all.

I am so sad to hear this news. I worked with Mike, and met Calpso, while working on the Barqa Landscape Project in Jordan. In a tough environment Mike met every day and every obstacle with a smile. Working with him and sharing a very early dawn breakfast with Mike was a joy. He was truly a gentleman. His students clearly loved him and he has gone too soon.

We were all so very sorry to receive the news about Michael. On behalf of all the professional staff and volunteer members of The Zeitah Excavations, where Michael worked for three years, I extend our deepest condolences and concern for Theresa, Kalypso, and Michael's extended family. Everyone who met him on this archaeological project thoroughly appreciated him and enjoyed his presence. May his memory be blessed forever.

My heart weeps for your family during this tragic period. I have many fond memories of Mike as far back as I can remember. This past weekend I have revisited memories of swimming, water skiing, and spending time at the lake and in the river. We had an amazing childhood at the lake and will always be some of my fondest memories I have of Mike. I am blessed to have known Mike my entire life. Mike was a very creative and compassionate person and made a lasting impression on all those who had the honor of meeting him.
