Michael G. "Mike" Hoover

RICHMOND, IN– Michael G. "Mike" Hoover, age 75, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at Reid Health.
Mike was born on June 18, 1950, in Richmond, Indiana, to Thomas and Ruth Goddard Hoover. He lived in this community all of his life. Mike worked as a painter at Marvel Industries for 17 years before retiring. He loved to fish and listen to music. Mike loved all sports. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mike is survived by his wife of 57 years, Debbie Dunn Hoover; daughter, Christi (Terry) Abner; sons, Michael (Karen) Hoover, and Thomas (Thelma Wells) Hoover; grandchildren, Michael Parrott, Keir Hoover, Kaitlyn Hoover, Shelby Hampton; great grandchildren, Kali Hoover, RJ Lovell, Jordan Hampton, and Adalynn Hampton; brother, Jim Hoover; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pam Duncan; and brother, Tom Hoover.

Visitation for Michael G. "Mike" Hoover, will be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond, Indiana.
