Michael Horihan Obituary

Michael James Horihan

Michael James Horihan (son of Martin 'Pat' Horihan, grandson of Martin and Mathilda Horihan of Hokah, Minn.) soared freely and painlessly into the next life on the wings of a beautiful Blue Jay Friday, December 6, 2024, at Hope Stay Memory Care in Holmen, Wis.

Michael is survived by his mother, Nancy Potts of La Crosse; his beloved sister, Danielle Ulrich and her husband, Scott and their children: Olivia and Sam of La Crosse; sister, Megan Remen (Cody Wiig) and children: Silas and Averie of Onalaska; sons: Jacob and Patrick; and daughter, Teagan Horihan; paternal aunts and uncles: Mary Horihan of Hokah, Helen and Norm Whillock of Trempealeau, George and Jackie Horihan of La Crescent, Mary Lou and John Mauss of Dubuque, Iowa, Ray and Mary Horihan of Georgia, Ed and Claire Horihan of Arizona, Kate and Don Grant of Dresbach,and Mike and Connie Horihan of Hokah and maternal uncle, David (Janet) Potts of La Crosse; as well as many, many cousins and friends.

Mike's family extends a very grateful and sincere THANK YOU to the Staff at Hope Stay for the love and care they gave him during his stay and his battle with MS.

Memorial service will Sunday, December 15, 2025 at 5 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St., Onalaska, Wis. is handling arrangements.
