Michael Wayne Hubnik

Michael Wayne Hubnik of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on May 11th, 2024, at the age of 60. Michael was born in Waco, Texas to Eugene A. Hubnik, Sr, and Rosie A. (Valenta) Hubnik on July 25th, 1963. Shortly after, his family relocated to San Antonio, Texas where he later graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1981. He was surrounded by friends and loved ones but remained single throughout his life. 

Michael worked as a licensed electrician. His profession encompassed both the commercial and residential side of business. He used his skills to help his brother build houses on numerous occasions. He also enjoyed working with wood and created many beautiful pieces of furniture, built to last forever.

He is survived by both parents and his brother, Gene and wife, Cyndi, of Canyon Lake, Texas. Also surviving him are his niece, Sydni and nephew, Douglas. 

The Funeral Service will be held on May 20th at 10:30 AM at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, Texas, followed by the burial service at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas.
