Michael Anthony Imondi, 69, passed away on February 27, 2024, at Hope Hospice in Providence, RI. Born in Providence, he was the son of Marie A. (Gaumond) and Silvio Imondi. He was blessed with children, Nichole Imondi of New Iberia, Louisiana and Michael Ponte of West Warwick, RI. He will also be missed by his sister, Charlene Lombardi, and her husband Douglas. Michael was the brother of the late Joseph Phillip and Peter John Imondi. He was grandfather to Jayden, Jordan and Mia Lumpkin and Brandon, Camryn and Anthony Ponte. He was loved by his nieces and nephews, the late Silvio DiRocco,Tania DiRocco, Joseph Broccoli and Melissa Imondi. Through the years he was employed by The City of Cranston, AAA, Kings Towing and Stop and Shop. Michael was an avid Boston Red Sox Fan and in his pastime he enjoyed going Crabbing and Loved Cooking Italian foods. Please send donations to The American Cancer Society.

Michael,
May you rest in the Lord's arms. Your memory will live on forever in my heart. We shared many experiences over many years and had a very special bond. This week when I learned of your illness and passing, I was heartbroken. One day we will meet again.
"In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?" (John 14.2). Rest in peace Michael.
