My wife and I knew Chief Isley while we served in the US Navy as Master-At-Arms and Military Working Dog Handlers. He was our LEPS Inspector, a father figure to me, a mentor and dear friend to both my wife and I, and more than once my and my wife's personal protector against bad leaders, even though we never asked him to be! He was the greatest leader I personally ever served under, and I feel that with his passing I lost the only true War Chief I ever served with. I sit here typing with tears flowing down my face for the loss of my War Chief and my friend. My wife and I are so sorry to hear of his family's loss and only hope that our love and devotion to him while we served will make you all smile!

I´m sorry to read about Mike´s passing. We had a lot of good times in the early 70´s. He always had that fun-loving spirit. Mike will be missed by all who knew him.
