Michael J. Cowser

Michael J. Cowser, 52, of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 18, 2024. He was born October 19, 1971, in Oakland, Md., a son of Patricia Shawley Cowser of Bethel Park and the late Gerald A. Cowser. Michael lived in the Canonsburg area for over 20 years and was Lutheran by faith. He was a graduate of Bethel Park High School Class of 1989 and earned a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from California University. Mike enjoyed photography, reading and music. He was employed as an environmental engineer with Clean Air Engineering of Robinson Township. On October 9, 1999, he married Eleanora "Elle" Dille, who he leaves behind after 24 years of marriage. Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife and mother, are his beloved children, Andrew G. Cowser and Gina C. Cowser; his brother, Jerry Alan Cowser and wife Carol of Bethel Park; two nieces, Abigail and Emily Cowser; and his beloved chocolate lab, Milo. Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P.
