I am from Dr. Holba's Dentist Office.

I will miss Mike coming in for his appointments & seeing him & Doc hug. I thought this was so wonderful. You could see the love they had & felt for each other.

Mike was always so kind to me.

It will be hard seeing his family come into the office knowing the love they felt for their husband, father & grandfather.

I lost my Dad 11 yrs. ago & my mom 6 1/2 yrs. ago & I know the struggles of losing such a close one to you.

I will pray for your entire family.

I was fortunate to spend several weeks working with Mike on some projects. His sole goal was to help make things better for his market centers and the people with whom he worked. Truly one of the kindest people I've ever met. He always spoke so lovingly of his family, especially his grandchildren. He looked forward to the days he and his wife were "babysitting". Mike will be missed by many. Prayers and condolences to the entire Holba family.

My heart is sorry to know that a my friend and long time supervisor is no longer with us. I have many fond memories of Mr. Mike Holba and just to mention a few...he helped me learn inventory, we laughed about when he told me about his childhood, his wonderful marriage , his children and grand children, especially when he brought his eldest grandson to work; joy and he gave me encouraging words when my now 10 year old daughter was born at 5 months. I will always remember how kind he was to me and many at work. May God Bless the Holba Family

Mike was quick to befriend us when we were new to the Mokena community. He was a strong encourager and supporter of our sons' athletic careers in Mokena and at Lincoln Way High School. Mike was always very positive, cheerful and alive. Our time in Mokena was enriched by knowing Mike.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Holba family. Please take comfort that Mike is in the loving arms of our savior Jesus Christ.

Mike was one of those people that if you never met him, you missed out in life. His face would light up every time he mentioned his grandchildren (always had photos). He also loved his Chicago sports teams Hawks, Bears and Cubs. Ask him a question about work and he would explain everything in great detail on how to make yourself better. I truly have so much respect for him. He will truly be missed. Once of those special people that I had the great honor of knowing for many, many years.
