MICHAEL J. "MJ" BAUS, age 60, U.S. Navy Chief (Retired), beloved husband of Lisa M. (nee Delattre); son of Diane (nee Eldridge) and Harold R. Baus; brother of Robert (Gwen), David (Laurie), Kenneth (Carla) and Melissa Baus; beloved uncle, nephew, brother-in-law, cousin, dear friend and mentor of many.
Michael (MJ) was a friend to many and never met a stranger that he couldn’t connect and make friends with. While he loved all of his nieces and nephews as he was just a big kid himself! He enjoyed spending more time with the younger niece and nephews after his Navy retirement.
Was always willing to help a shipmate fix a pay problem or to complete their retirement paperwork. Recently took up some new recreational activities such as painting, cookie decorating, fly fishing and photography. And let's not forget his obsession with golf, always willing to play a round as long as the temperature was at least 50 degrees.
Would like to thank everyone who was a friend to MJ over the years and to all those whose lives he touched. But there are just too many so know that he loved and appreciated all of you.
