I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Scott. We had some great times when we were younger. I had just recently within the past 6 months thought I saw him up in Richmond, but didn't get to stop and talk to him (my loss). You are in my thoughts and prayers, as are his kids.

Uncle Roger and Aunt Judy,
I am so sorry. Scott's passing is a loss to our entire family. By nature's law a parent is not supposed to out live a child. May you both find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering physically. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

"Man that is born of a woman, hath but a short time to live, and is full of misery." These words from Job are descriptive of Father Scott. He lived with the the blessed hope of Job who spoke from the midst of his troubles, "I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me."

"In communion with the blessed saints and aided by cherubim and seraphim, thrones and dominions, principalities and powers, virtues, archangels and angels - all the armies of the Heavenly Host: May his rest be this day in peace, and his dwelling place in the Paradise of God."

As you walk through the valley of the shadow of grace, may you be sustained with the Lord's comforting grace of Christ the Good Shepherd who has walked this way before you.
