I am shocked to learn of Dr. J's passing. My heart goes out to his wife & family. Dr. J was one of the most caring, compassionate, & happy person I've ever met. I will truly miss him.

I am so saddened to hear of Mike´s battle with cancer and passing- my sincere condolences to Zife, family and friends as I cannot attend due to moving out of state. I will always remember my time with Mike at Waterbury ER and how much he loved his wife and family. My Mom babysat for Mike and Zife´s children when they were small and she adored them. Mike will be so missed but I am sure the love he felt for all of you will live on forever in your hearts.

To Dr J's family and friends.....Dr J made everyone around him feel comfortable -- he respected his patients' needs. Always enjoyed talking with him about traveling - esp to Italy. He shared many suggestions of "must see" places that were fabulous. My deepest condolences for your loss - you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

What an incredible doctor Mike was. He literally saved my father's life on a few occasions and my husband's once. He was brilliant and kind. I enjoyed working with him for many years at Manchester Memorial Hospital. His smile would brighten any room and his patients loved him. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who knew him.

Mike had a beautiful way of blending class and dignity that commanded respect with a constant sense of humor that made you feel embraced. Such a indelible person who"s loss will be felt by many.......
