James Michael Jennings was born May 7, 1970, in Cleveland, MS. He married the love of his life, Tracy, on June 2, 1992.
Michael graduated from Bolivar Central high School in 1988. He attended college in Arkansas. He pursued a career in law enforcement with Grand Junction Police Department, Whiteville Police Department and Bolivar Police Department. He was recently employed with Ricky Ayers doing electrical and plumbing. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, coaching baseball, camping, woodworking and spending time with his family. Michael found great joy in fixing vehicles and spending time with his dogs. He was a die-hard TN Vols fan.
Michael is survived by his wife, Tracy Jennings of Saulsbury, his two sons, Cody (Kaci) Jennings of Bolivar and Clay (Briana) Jennings of Lamoille, VT, three grandchildren, Auden James, Brinly Grace and Maci Jane. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Jennings, and his brother, Chad Jennings. Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
