I started teaching at Princeton Junior High School in 1974 with Joe and retired from BPCC around 2018 with Joe. Nice to have known you, Buddy. Rest in Peace.

Bossier City lost a wonderful man in Joe St. Andre. He was always so helpful and encouraging to me, as I know he was to everyone he met.
However, our loss is Heaven´s gain. I´ll be glad to see you again, Joe.

St.Andre was dear to my heart , he wld be the first one I wld check on, upon coming thru the door. He was feeling sick one night and needed to go to the hospital, I was on another hall. My nurse asked me to see if I could convince him to go. He told me no too!! He yelled at me, before he realized it, he said I´m sorry. I was hurt there for a minute. But I knew he wasn´t himself. I´m going to miss him so much My condolences to his family!! I knw he´s touched many hearts. He will surely be missed

Joe was a special person when you said any type of sports ,,he had a knack of teaching kids self discipline and principles usually from them sitting on the baseball bucket!! He made Dixie Baseball his home when he coached for Bossier!

When I first started at BPCC in 1998, I had no clue what I was doing. One night after getting barked at by another professor because I let class out 15 minutes too early, I bumped into coach St. I told him I didn´t think I could do this job because I didn´t have a clue what I was doing, and I told him I was probably going to quit. He sat there with me, patted me on my shoulder, and said, "Ashley none of us had a clue when we started either so just take a breath and show up tomorrow, it will be okay and get better." I stayed 26 more years at BPCC. Me bumping into Saint that night after that first aid class was no accident. It literally changed the course of my future because I was close to quitting. I will never forget that moment. I know how much he loved his family and his grand babies because I heard a many a story about those children over the years. He will be missed by many! Prayers to the family and may God give you peace knowing that Coach is with his Lord and Savior now and forever! Ashley Grisham

I was heart broken to learn of St Andre´s passing. He was a friend and colleague of mine. We worked together at BPCC. He was a great teacher and friend. He will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
