Mr. Michael Jeffrey Jue

Michael Jeffrey Jue passed away on September 2 at the age of 68. Born in Bakersfield, California in 1950, Michael grew up in Los Angeles's Crenshaw District. Michael attended UC San Diego to study math and subsequently attended UC Berkeley for his graduate degree. After returning to Los Angeles, Michael received a second graduate degree from USC and worked at Northrop Grumman as an engineer for over 30 years before retiring in 2009. As a fiercely devoted father, husband, brother, and friend, Michael spent his able years pursuing the activities that he loved with the people he loved. He protected, provided for, and always showed up for his family. As a lifelong learner, Michael practiced tai chi and was a proud member and leader of District One Toastmasters. Michael will always be remembered for how his unique character and generous heart shaped each of us who had the privilege of knowing him. A memorial service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, September 10 at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Church of the Hills (6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles). He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lily, his two daughters, Elizabeth and Diana, son-in-law, Joshua, and five siblings and their families.
