I´ve known Mike since elementary school. We didn´t become friends until about 13 years ago. My father and I were going to a steelhead fishing seminar and we saw Mike there. After the seminar, we exchanged phone numbers and said we would do a trip out to Erie to do some steelhead fishing. Mike and his father, (Harry), my dad(Bill) and myself went out in November. This became an annual trip for Mike and I. Since that first trip both Mike´s father and my father have passed away. We continued our trips and added a few of our friends to the annual trip. Many fond memories we made on those trips. I was honored to be Mikes best man when he and Deb got married. You are deeply miss "Kalbie". Gone too soon brother.

My uncle Mike was a wonderful person. He always uplifted you, made you laugh. I am saddened by this so much. I will always remember his iconic "Whoa" line
