Michael "Mike" Lee Keeling went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2024. Mike was a long time resident of Boiling Springs, SC. He was born in Veedersburg, IN to the late Herschel & Esther Keeling on May 17, 1944. 

After 6 weeks of knowing each other Mike married the love of his life , Malinda Mickle Keeling, on May 7, 1966.They remained lovingly devoted to each other for 58 years. Malinda was by his side as Mike entered into the arms of Jesus. Mike & Malinda were the example of a loving and faithful marriage. They share 2 sons, Scott Keeling of Pittsburgh, PA and Jeff Keeling(Cindy) of Boiling Springs, SC.

He cherished 4 grandchildren, Brad Keeling (Julie), Tanner Keeling (Brandi), Luke Keeling and Emma Keeling. Siblings, C.V. Keeling and Lucille Booe along with many nieces and nephews. He was anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandchild due October 2024. 

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by in-laws, George & Peggy Mickle and two brothers, Gerald Keeling and J.D. Keeling. 

Mike served in the US Army as a Military Policeman from 1964 to 1966. After his service he returned to Indiana to work for RR Donnelley. He later moved to Spartanburg, SC to continue his career and retired in 2010 after 47 years of dedicated service. 

Mike was happiest on the golf course. He loved playing golf, spending time at Hilton Head, SC, and serving at Bethany Baptist Church, where he was an ordained deacon. He was currently a member of Beaumont Baptist Church. Mike scored his first hole-in-one at Woodfin Ridge after having his first stroke. 

Services will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 at Beaumont Baptist Church 945 Beaumont Avenue Spartanburg, SC at 1PM, with receiving of friends from 12-12:45. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 2PM. 

The family will be at the home of Jeff and Cindy. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice.
