Found this pic when going thru my Mom's photos. It says on the back that Mike was a senior at HHS. My Dad, Ray Aeschliman is in the middle. Don't know who the man on the left is. Looks like they had a profitable hunting outing. Becky Aeschliman Dix

Mike was a classmate in Hudson Ohio from first grade through high school graduation. It was a small town then and most families knew each other, at least to say hello. Years passed by before we reconnected at a class reunion, after which we stayed in touch at least a couple times a year. Our phone calls and short visits were always delightful. I remain amazed at how he stayed in shape to cross country ski, mountain bike, etc. Our last phone call was just two weeks before he passed away and will remain etched in my mind. To his family, may your memories always be special. Sue and Larry Huelsman

Mike was my uncle. He had a lot of influence on me as a child. He was raised on a farm in Ohio and he taught me how to fish. They had a barn at the farm and Mike and his sister Barb wanted me to jump out to the second story hay loft into a pile of hay at the bottom. I was to scared so Mike and Barb pushed me out of the barn. When I realized that I didn't get hurt I immediately ran up and jumped again. One morning we went fishing at Hasbrouck's Farm pond. There was fog on the ground and it was very quiet. There were a bunch of cattle that were fenced up near the pond. Mike says" Be very quiet". At that point he screamed, he startled t all of the cattle. They all raised their tails at once and "pooped". It was still one of the funniest things I remember about a man who had a great sense of humor. He loved jokes. Mike, you will be missed by family and friends. Condolences to family and friends.
