I just now learned of your passing. I had the pleasure of working with Sgt. (as he was back then) Kemmerer for 7 years when I was with CenCom. He was always in a good mood, always smiling. What a warm and caring person he was. One thing I will always remember is his laugh. He had the most infectious laugh!

My prayers go up for your family and loved ones who are surely missing you. Thank you for all the years of service in law enforcement and thank you for the laughs! God bless.

I knew Mike from grade school (Rockland), junior high (Highland), and high school (Libertyville). He was always kind and friendly. No surprise that he went on to serve the wider community for many years as an excellent police officer. I extend my sympathies to his family. What a good man he was.

My deepest sympathies to Mike's loving wife Sandy and his four sons Glenn Justin John and Jeff. Mike was devoted to his family friends and his work. Mike you will be missed. I have 2 of my favorite memories that I will cherish forever. Well I have lots of them. 1st one he pulled me over for going to fast and following to close to an ambulance that my mom was in the back of so he let me go. The 2nd is mike helped my parents replace the living room sub floor and we found newspapers from the 1950s on the original sub floor. It was neat as we sat there and read them all. I will miss you very much rest in paradise my friend.
