Michael Floyd Kierson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Floyd Kierson, who left us peacefully on February 25, 2026, at the age of 66. Born in Richmond, VA, on November 30, 1959, Michael spent his life making meaningful connections and sharing his joy with those around him.

A dedicated surveyor by profession, Michael was a former employee of Koontz Bryant, where he brought his passion for precision and detail to his work. Beyond his professional life, he was known for his adventurous spirit, finding great joy in hunting and his love for classic Westerns on television. He truly embraced the simple pleasures in life and loved nothing more than sharing stories with friends and family.

Michael is survived by his loving sister, Penny Morris and her husband George, his sister Debra Williams and her husband John Williams, his niece Amanda Morris, and nephew Wesley Morris. The bonds he forged with his loved ones will forever be cherished and remembered.

In celebration of his life, a graveside service will be held at Piedmont Baptist Church on March 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM. We invite everyone who knew Michael to join us in honoring a man who was full of life and laughter. His spirit will be carried on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Michael will be laid to rest at 17801 Genito Road, Amelia Court House, VA 23002, where friends, family, and well-wishers will gather to pay their respects and share in the memories of a remarkable man.

Rest in peace, Michael. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
