Michael Dewayne Kinder, 53, of Pineville passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Pineville Community Health Care. He was born in Pineville on April 18, 1972, a son of the late John Neil and Mary Ellen Parson Kinder. He had worked in the coal mines for many years and was a United States Postal trucker for the United States Postal Service. Michael enjoyed hunting deer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Calvin Saylor.

Michael is survived by his wife, Melissa Hendrickson Kinder; sons, Nick Kinder and Dewayne and Hayley Kinder; step-children, LaDonna and Justin Gadell and Courtney and Cody Smith; grandchildren, Trinity Kinder, Erin Kinder, Tianna Kinder, Brooklyn Kinder, Bentley Kinder, Paisley Kinder, Parker Gadell, Henry Gadell, Greyson Smith, and Maverick Smith; brothers, Stanley and Darlene Kinder, Bruce and Loretta Kinder; and sister, Brenda Saylor; nephews and nieces, John and Audrey Kinder, Josh Kinder, Ethan Kinder, Angela Saylor, Kayla and Cody Nolan, and David and Shannon Saylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Goodin presiding. Burial will follow in the Tackett Hill Cemetery in Blackmont. Pallbearers will be Brian Bundy, Floyd Taylor, Brad Hobbs, John Kinder, Ethan Kinder, and Carl Frith. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy.

The family sends a thanks to the Bell County EMS and to the Pineville Community Health Care for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations for the funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Kinder family.
