Michael Klinkhamer or "Mike" as we called him was born and raised in Saint Paul Minnesota. He was one of seven children born to George and Peggy Klinkhamer. He was dad to Matt and Adam and grandpa to Drew and Lili.
Mike loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and hike in Minesota, Wisconsin and especially in the mountains of Colorado. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog at his hunting cabin in Iron River WI. He enjoyed exploring area lakes, trails and roads; always looking for a new place to hunt, fish or as he got older just viewing wildlife. He maintained bird feeders and food plots for animals he enjoyed watching. Mike would go to town for breakfast several times a week to visit with the locals.
Mike always cared most about his family and wanted the best for them. He worked very hard at his job to support his family. He also had a strong faith in God and his country.
Mike was a Pipefitter by trade, member of Saint Paul Pipefitters local 455. He developed Mesothelioma; a type of cancer many Pipefitters have been diagnosed with. Mike passed away Sunday morning August 18, 2024, after losing his two-year battle with cancer.
