Michael Gene Knotek

Michael Gene Knotek, 82, of Puyallup, WA passed away on March 2nd 2026. Born on June 25, 1943 in Tacoma, WA. He was a devoted husband to Pam Knotek and a loving father to Justin Edwards and Sean Knottek. Dad was hard working and dedicated, he sought a life of adventure after high school and served in the US Navy from 1962–1966 aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard. After his time in the service he spent 40 years as a landscaper and had high expectations but knew how to have fun. Despite family responsibilities he always made time for fishing, camping, family and his passions. Though naturally reserved and private he did become animated in the company of friends. Dad's hobbies and interests help define who he was. He loved gardening and to transform his property into a beautiful scene, often spending weekends working in the yard. His love for fishing and the Seahawks was something he passed on to his sons. He is survived by his wife, Pam, children Sean and Justin; and grandchildren Aerial, Riley, Johnny, Eva and Eli; as well as extended family who will miss him dearly. We find comfort in knowing Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, love he shared and memories we cherish forever.
