Michael Scott Kruse

Michael Scott Kruse, age 63, of St. Cloud, formerly of Milaca, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at St. Cloud Hospital.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.  Friends, family and others whose lives were touched by Mike are invited to gather and share memories of his meaningful life.

Mike Kruse was born October 8, 1960 in Palisade, Minnesota to Ed and Marion Kruse. Mike grew up in Milaca and graduated from Milaca High School. He continued his education at St. Cloud Technical College. After completing his education, Mike married Kim and had two sons, Joey and Bryan Kruse. In his later years, Mike met and married Nancy and had two sons, Tyler and Tony Kruse.

In Mike’s recent years, he finished his 22 year career at Midstate Tile Company. He’s enjoyed attending many music events, camping and exploring state parks with his friends, family and partner, Cheryl Roberts. Mike’s joy in tinkering with small engines and classic cars will truly be missed.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Marion and sisters, Karry and Pam.

Mike is survived by his loved ones including his four sons, Joey, Bryan, Tyler (Milena) and Tony (Kayla); father, Ed; sister, Jody (Lonnie); brothers, Brad (Karen) and Brent; five grandchildren, Kane, Lux, Ashton, Autumn and Payslee; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
