Michael Kuter

Michael C. Kuter, age 59, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Mike was born April 4, 1965 in Wisconsin Rapids to Jack and Diane (Zahn) Kuter.
He was the proud owner of his own stump grinding business. Yet, his true passion lay in the world of music. A gifted guitarist, he played in several local bands, including Shiver and Element 13, and even penned some of his own music. His melodies, much like his personality, were both captivating and unforgettable. Mike's love for life extended to his unwavering support for the Green Bay Packers, his extensive Star Trek collection, and the precious moments spent at the family cabin in Shawano. But most of all, he loved his loyal companion, Bear, who brought joy and companionship into his life.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Heather Kuter of Marshfield; grandchildren: Alyson, Destiny, Michael, Emerson, and Harmony Arnold and Ariana Neuser; his father, Jack Kuter of Wisconsin Rapids; his mother and step-father, Diane (Ed) Sell of Vesper; his brothers: Kirby Kuter of Adams and Randy Kuter of Wisconsin Rapids; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; step-brothers: Bruce Bassett and Kevin Bassett; and step-sister, Michelle Pistono. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother, Rick Kuter; infant sister, Marcy; his step-mother, Janet Kuter; and his companion of eight years, Sandy Gipson.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
