I saw Mike weekly as a member of the ROMEOS breakfast club. Our breakfast meetings turned virtual during COVID but we managed to get together for a real meal now and again at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester. Even during his final weeks, he made sure that he was with us, every Wednesday at 8AM. Mike was a quiet, funny, and thoughtful contributor to our discussions. As a biologist, I particularly loved his enthusiasm for all things Darwin, including figurines! He was a Renaissance man and was truly an officer and a gentleman. I loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed. I send my deepest condolences to his family and all of those who loved him.

Bob and I are so sorry and very sad to hear about Mike's passing away. I flew with Mike at Eastern airlines in Boston for many years and then reconnected where we were have lunch in Gloucester with Mike and Ann.
Fly high into heaven Mike.
