Michael Jay Lancaster, born September 30, 1975, in Sacramento, California, passed away on August 6, 2024. Michael was deeply cherished by his family and friends.
Michael worked diligently as an Auto Parts Salesman at O'Reilly Auto Parts, where his expertise and friendly demeanor earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and customers. His passion for mechanics extended beyond his professional life, as he enjoyed tinkering with remote control cars and embraced all things automotive.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Michael’s love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He took great joy in spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, and his warm, caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Michael was also a fan of the irreverent humor and unique charm of Deadpool, a testament to his playful spirit and enjoyment of life’s lighter moments.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alice Lancaster.
Michael’s memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Crystal; children, Candice Brown (Joshua), Riska Lancaster, Jeremiah Lancaster, Juanita Lancaster, Faith Huber, Timothy Huber, William Huber, and Draven; parents, Jay and Jean Lancaster; grandfather, Keith Lancaster; grandchildren, Blake, Owen, and Lillian; brother, Chris Lancaster (Nancy); and nieces, Kelly Lancaster, and Hope Huber.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service, honoring Michael’s life, will be held immediately following the visitation, in the chapel.
