Michael M. Land, 87, of Atlantic City died on October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 28, 1938, in Orlando, Florida, Michael ("Mike", "Mikey-Pie", "Poppy", or Boonie") resided in Margate for much of his life, where he raised his family and was an active member of the community.

Michael was an attorney, specializing in personal injury, bankruptcy, and real estate law for over 60 years, with offices in Atlantic City, then Margate. Mike loved jazz music and was an active member of the Somers Point Jazz Society, enjoying their weekly jazz performances whenever he could. Mike was also an active member of the Atlantic County Bar Association, a former president of the Atlantic County Jaycees and a long-time member of Beth Judah Synagogue, where each of his three children had their Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Mike is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gail (nee Rasin), his three children (the "lights of his life"), son Bill (Marie) Land, and daughters, Julie (Carole Grusemeyer) Land and Allison Land, his four grandchildren, Ashley Lass (nee Amorison), Eric Land, Steven Land, and Michelle Amorison, as well as his great grandson, Ozzie Land, and his sister Ruth Brody (nee Land). Mike is predeceased by his parents, Abe and Estelle Land, and his grandson-in-law, Nathan Lass.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Funeral Directors, 211 East Great Creek Road, Galloway, NJ 08205, followed by burial at Emeth Shalom/Shirat Hayam Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township. The family will be holding shiva that evening at the Margate home of Mike's daughter, Allison Land. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mike's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
