Michael Alvin Larson was born on August 1 st, 1950.
He rode the perfect wave into the sunset on January 21 st, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Michael was known to all as "Mickey" which fit his fun-loving personality perfectly! He had a love for life and no matter what came his way he faced it with a smile. His silliness was infectious and always had those around him laughing and smiling along with him. He was an amazingly hard worker and was always willing to help anyone that needed it.
His love for the ocean and surfing was a huge piece of who he was, and he passed that love down to his family. He could always be found outside in the sun with no shoes, no shirt on and a cold Coca Cola in his happy place.
He proudly served in the US Army at the rank of Specialist 4 and always had a quiet respect of those who served.
Mickey loved his family and would light up when he spoke of them. He was the proud "Father of All" to 6 children and 2 stepchildren. He was happily married to "His Sweetie" and together they had a wonderful life filled with laughter, joy and making memories.
Mickey's strong spirit will live on through his "Sweetie", all his children and 15 grandchildren (with 1 on the way!)
His catchphrase "Let me show you how it's done" will not only be remembered with smiles but also as a reminder of the example he left to treat others as you would want to be treated.
We love you, Dad.
