Michael Patrick Laughrey

What a shock to find this out 17 months later from a mention in someone else's Facebook page. To his family, my deepest sympathy. Mike and I attended elementary and high school together and played in a number of bands together in the Johnstown area. I lost track of him when I moved to Harrisburg in 1981 then somehow found him again on email about ten years ago. To this day I still remember a saying his Dad had stenciled on the heating duct in their basement where we practiced (I never asked why he did that) "Once I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken." Every once in a while I will use that saying. Mike was a good dude and, at least in his younger days, would make sure you knew he didn't have a belly button. - Joe "Dube" Deibert

I will always remember Mike for his devoted love of the Steelers and for dubbing me as "Little Willy" and being a great guy. Rest in peace my brother.
