i remember when i went to texas for a bit in the summer with micheal and we went to explore caves and hike and swim at turner falls. it was the most fun i have ever had and it was outdoors which made it even better but my favortite memory with me and micheal is when we went to the colony and we went to andretti we rode go carts and the workers there made kaitlyn where funny shoes becuase she only had crocks on and when we started racing i remeber when me and micheal go in intouble for going to fast and drifting around the turns .

My first memory of Michael is when our mom was in labor with him. It was before our dad´s birthday and also before Friday the 13th. Our dad was working out of town so he wasn´t at the hospital yet. I kept telling mom that she needed to have Michael quick or hold on for 3 days so that he wouldn´t be a Friday the 13th baby or born on Dad´s birthday. Laurie was with us too and we kept telling her that she needed to have Michael before dad got to the hospital but also before the 13th and before dad´s birthday. Dad´s plan was to name him Jethro Bodine and we didn´t want him to name our baby Jethro. lol. So, mom did have him before dad got to the hospital and I named him Michael Ryan. I just loved that name for some reason. The first time I told Michael about his birth and what dad wanted to name him, in typical Michael fashion, he said "I would have rocked the name Jethro." And, I agreed that he could rock any name but his name was the coolest because if he used just his first 2 initials, he was MR Lenling

Having met Michael at a Terex training in Texas, I knew he was a very special person who loved his family immensley. We bonded over cute kid stories and chuckled over him being a girl dad and aaaaalllllll the beautiful moments that brought him...a role he relished. We will miss him so VERY, VERY much.
Rest now Michael, for your grace will guide your family.
With heartfelt love,
Jennifer Dobie, Terex, Shakopee, MN
