Michael Lindsey Obituary
Mr. Lindsey passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Grandview Medical Center. He was born and raised in Clay County, worked for several companies including Ace Products, Wellborn Cabinets, and the local chicken plants. He primarily worked alongside his brother James for Lindsey construction for 25 years as a laborer. Mr. Lindsey enjoyed going dirt track racing, fishing, and watching Alabama football. He was social and talkative, never met a stranger, and had a large sense of humor. Mr. Lindsey valued spending time and playing with his grandchildren, and was helpful to anyone in need.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his son, Coby Lindsey (Fiancee Tiffany Beason) of Hollis Crossroads; two grandsons, Karson and Jagger; two sisters: Rhonda Rostofer of Delta and Shirley See (Carl) of Ohio; three brothers: James A. Lindsey (Martha) of Lineville, James C. Lindsey (Rose) of Hollis Crossroads, and Rodney Lindsey of Barfield; plus a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Jack and Mary Ellen Bell Lindsey; and one niece, Ashley Lindsey.
Active Pallbearers will be Chase Lindsey, Davey Lindsey, Cody Lindsey, Gary Rostofer, James Rostofer, and Jamie McCollough. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jip Beason, Cole Beason, Robert Howard, Chris Elliott, Billy Stutler, and Wayne LyBrand.
His visitation will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made towards his burial expenses. Donations can be brought to Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville: 89076 Hwy 9, Lineville, AL 36266
