Michael Paul Linhoff

Michael P. Linhoff, age 66, of Willmar, passed away Tuesday morning, February 27, at CentraCare Sophia House in Willmar.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.  Interment will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery near Kandiyohi.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Michael Paul Linhoff was born on January 17, 1958, in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Eugene and Norma (Jergenson) Linhoff.  He grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1977.  In 1981, Michael was married to Shari Wurzburger.  They made their home in Willmar and were blessed with three children, Matthew, Jonathon and Jessica.  Michael and Shari divorced in 1989.  Over the years, Michael worked at Jenni-O Foods, Burlington Northern Railroad and Northland Drills.  He retired early due to health complications.  Michael enjoyed fishing, watching movies and being with his family and friends.


He is survived by his three children, Matthew Linhoff of Kerkhoven, Jonathon Linhoff of Maple Grove and Jessica Linhoff of St. Cloud; four grandchildren; two sisters, Cindy (and Gaylan) Krueger of Willmar and Lynette Carlson of Janesville, WI.; and one sister-in-law, Judy Linhoff of Willmar, besides other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert and his parents.
