Michael Lipkin MD

Michael Lipkin, MD, age 90, of Highland Park, respected psychiatrist, medical ethicist, and professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Michael also served honorably as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He was the beloved husband and best friend for 66 years of Nina Lipkin, nee Pashkow; loving father of Mark Lipkin, Julie (Mike Green) Lipkin, and Gary Lipkin; adored Papa of Gabrielle and Kate; devoted son of the late Hillel Lipkin and the late Dr. Katherine Tankel; cherished brother of Marshall (Nancy) Lipkin; dear brother-in-law of David (Cookie) Pashkow and the late Bonnie (Jim Roehm) Pashkow; treasured uncle and friend to many. Michael was compassionate, thoughtful, and always there when you needed him. He helped many people through difficult times with sympathy and understanding. He loved his family and enjoyed keeping a broad network of friends.

Memorial Service Monday, 4:00 p.m. at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). Michael's service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
