Michael J. Livingston, 73, passed away at his home on April 25, 2024, surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 16, 1950, in Robbins Chapel, Virginia, to Junior Livingston and Bess Thomas Reynolds.
Mike graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1968, from there he went into the sheet metal trade until his retirement in 2012. He continued to be a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union No. 20. He was an avid bowler for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, archery and spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory, his brother Barry (Sue) Livingston, his sister Peggy (John) Sullivan, his three sons: Michael Livingston, John (Danielle) Livingston, and Brian (Abby) Livingston, grandchildren: Caleb Williams, Austin Perkins, Blake Livingston, Dalton Livingston, Maddie Livingston, Charli Livingston, and Izzy Livingston, great-grandson: Leland Williams.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda; parents: Junior Livingston and Bess Thomas Reynolds; and brother, Terry Livingston.
Funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46221, with burial to follow in West Newton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Memorial contribution in his name may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
