Michael Lewis Logsdon, 79, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Born in Akron, Ohio to Lewis and Anna (Fitzgerald) Logsdon, he was a lifelong area resident. Mike was a proud U. S. Army Veteran and he retired from Carpenter's Union 285 after 40 years of service. He enjoyed watching sports, maintaining a manicured yard, caring for his cars, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his 4 siblings. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Carol; sons, Robert (Shawna) Logsdon, Lucas Logsdon; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Rafe, Aris, Adisyn, Jaxson, Peri, Ashlynn, Mason; several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will have a celebration of Mike's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Mike's name to the charity of their choice.
