Michael Currie Luckenbach

My Deepest Sympathy and Condolences to the family and friends of Mike Luckenbach.
In 1986, two weeks after moving into my building on Marshfield(He later moved to Pauline), I met the neighbor whose front yard contained the most amazing patch of Daffodils. It was Mike. We became friends and wonderful neighbors. His love for cycling and the neighborhood was eclipsed by his undying love and care for the feral cat population in our neighborhood. He embraced the arts and loved music and the Chicago Cubs. Most of all he had no qualms in expressing his opinion on any given subject. Unshakeable, true to his beliefs, and a dear forever friend for 37 years. His presence will be missed, and I embrace the wonderful memory of my friend.
