The last time I saw Bill was at Hyams plants on Folly Road, it was a nice surprise to run into him there.
I worked with Bill at Cross Seed way back in the mid 80s. We would take lunch together and I learned a lot from him. He always had a book. He told me all about Trafalgar Day. Every October 21, I say, "Happy Trafalgar Day, Bill!" always hoping he might hear me over the miles. I decided today to see if I could find him, and I'm too late.
Bill was kind, and smart, and genuine, and genuinely interested in others. I'm glad I knew him, and very sorry I missed him.

I knew Billy at Charleston High school. He was always a friendly face in the crowd. I know he will be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May they find peace at this difficult time.
