Michael J. MacGill, 48, of Nisbet, passed away unexpectedly at home on, Friday, March 8, 2024.
Mike was born in Williamsport on February 9, 1976, a son of Clyde E. and Maggie R. (Calhoun) MacGill.
He was a graduate of South Williamsport High School. Over his working career he worked numerous jobs, among those Mike was owner and operator of Touch of Grass Landscaping, he worked for Heath Consultants, a leak detection consultant subcontractor for UGI Utilities and as a self-employed satellite dish installer.
An outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, kayaking and hunting when he was younger.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Nisbet, are his wife, Heather L. (Harris) MacGill, they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on May 8, 2024; their children, Dakota M. MacGill and Savannah L. MacGill; a brother, Jeff L. (Kim) MacGill and his furry friend, his cat, Oreo.
In addition to his father, a brother, John E. MacGill preceded him in death.
The family will receive family and friends at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E.3rd St., Williamsport on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 100 Walnut St., Montoursville, PA with the Rev. Michael S. McCormick officiating. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery, Williamsport.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions may be made to either, NAMI North Central PA, PO Box 412, Montoursville, PA 17754, or to naminepa.org, or West Branch Drug and Alcohol, 213 W. 4th St. Williamsport, PA 17701 or wbdrugandalcohol.org in honor of Mike MacGill.
