Michael Maier Obituary
July 4, 1943 - November 5, 2024
Bellingham, Washington - Michael E. Maier, age 81, passed away peacefully after living with progressive dementia for eight years.
He was a history and geology enthusiast, and an avid reader and gardener. Michael was a Captain in the Army serving one year in Vietnam during the war. He is survived by his wife Mary Chaney, daughters Monica Fiscus and Kathryn Maier, and brother John Maier.
Services Friday, Dec. 6, 1:30 pm, at First Congregational Church located at 2401 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham, Wa.

To Mary and family,
My deepest sympathy to you, Monica and Kathryn.
I'll never forget the kindness and caring he showed Mark during his 5 year residence at CHC.
He visited almost every Friday afternoon, even though Mark usually fell asleep.
His knowledge was endless on so many subjects.
Michael go on and meet your coffee time friends who have gone before you.
