Michael F. Marino, was born on November 20, 1958 and raised in Massapequa, NY. He passed away at his home in Florida surrounded by his family on July 2, 2025. He is survived by his wife Carole, their children Stephanie Mentzel (Jonathan),Christine Krasniewski (Steven), Anthony Mazzuchelli (Nicole) and Michael E. Marino and their grandchildren, Ava, Logan, Anthony and Mia. He is also survived by his parents Leonard and Mildred Marino and sisters Wendy Marino and Linda Scheuerer.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, Michael was known for his strength, generosity, kindness and unwavering integrity. He spent 28 years doing what he loved, teaching Automotive Technology to his students at GC Tech at Levittown Memorial High School, and BOCES. Michael touched many lives with his generous spirit and unshakable humor. He always found a way to make us laugh and enjoy life. Whether it be from his love of music blasting from his speakers or his stupid Dad jokes. He had a passion for all things outdoors like hunting, camping, canoeing and especially fishing. He found peace on the water. He was a Mr I can Fix anything, who we so lovingly called our MacGyver. Stories from loved ones capture his love of life and the positive impact he had on those around him.
