So sorry for your loss. I knew Mike from shared adventures on the river, and he always added his relentless good cheer and enthusiasm to any outing. Mike was a great person off of the river, too, did a lot for the community and was devoted to his friends and family. I know he will be sorely missed.

Daryl, My condolences. We just learned of Mike's passing from the Canoe Cruisers newsletter. Mike was the Poolesville Canoeist to us? Marianne still has her solo whitewater canoe that we purchased from Mike and this fall we swung by to pick up some thwarts and wooden gunnel pieces. When I think of canoes in the Potomac watershed I think of Mike. During our last visit he delighted us by letting us drive his zero radius lawn mower which made me squeal in delight. I will miss Mike. He was an open boat institution! Robert Goo and Marianne Mcneil.

Dear Daryl and members of Michael's family,
As long time friends of Michael's parents, Eddy and Marge, we were blessed to know and love all of their kids. As the youngest, Michael brought added joy to a close and fun family.
We share your sadness at the loss of Michael and offer prayers for his peace and for your strength at a time of heartache.
