Michael Martinez Obituary
Michael Anthony Martinez, age 52, passed away on January 30, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
Michael was born November 24, 1970 in Roosevelt, Utah to Ernest Edward Martinez, Sr. and Gloria Annette Grant Martinez.
Michael loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing softball, basketball and enjoying the beauty all around. He was very athletic and enjoyed playing ball and boxing. He was a member of the Native American Church and liked participating in the Sundance, Peyote, and Sweat Lodge.
He is survived by his children, Geovanni (Sonya) Martinez, Bucky Reed, Avory Martinez, Shelby Martinez, Matthew Martinez, 6 grandchildren and his siblings, Sharen Martinez, Robert Eppy Martinez (Caroline Montoya) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Violet Marie Martinez and brother Ernest “Eddy” Martinez, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery
