Michael Mateo Martinez Jr.

Michael Mateo Martinez, Jr., age 33 of Springfield, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in White House. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Cross Plains Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 until 8 pm and Sunday from 10 am until the hour of service. Mr. Martinez was born September 20, 1977 in Louisville, KY to Michael Martinez, Sr. and Freda C. Milliner Jenkins. He was a superintendent for Dillingham & Smith. He is survived by a daughter, Elexus Nicole “Lexi� Martinez of Springfield; father and step-mother, Mike and Candace Martinez, Sr. of Springfield; mother and step-father, Freda C. and Barry T. Jenkins of Cedar Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheree and Steven Harrington of Cedar Hill and Lorie and Brannon Walters of Greenbrier; grandparents, Earl and Dorothy Milliner of Louisville, KY; and nieces and nephews, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Dsetiny, Katie, and Ryan. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Elexus Martinez Trust Fund. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
