Michael James "Mick" McCauley, age 79, was a loving husband and father, a proud United States Marine, a decorated Vietnam War veteran and Purple Heart recipient, and a happily retired member of Sprinkler Fitters Local 281. His memory lives on through his wife, Bernadine; his son, Sean (Kelly); and his many lifelong friends.
A private Committal with Military Honors will be held on February 27, 2026, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Details regarding a Celebration of Life will be shared with friends and family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mick's honor may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
