Michael has always made me laugh when we got together. I had to bring my A game any time we went over to the McGuinness family because you knew you were going to catch some grief via a smart alec jab. Michael and his family have always held a special place with us Kellys. Michael was generous and always made time include my family during the holidays. There are too many good stories to bring up in this post since we all grew up near each other: Annandale to Springfield connection. My brother and I have always said that Michael was the patriarch of our family. He was great about communicating to other family members and bringing us together. John and I would go out to dinner with Michael every quarter. We are going to miss our times together. He will be dearly missed and has left a major hole in our lives. The photo is from my 40th birthday party with Michael, John my brother, and Michael's brother Mark. As you can see...we were always laughing and enjoying each other's company.

Michael always made me and my other family members laugh and always had a quick wit. I had to be prepared to absorb the fun jabs and give it back when possible! He was the patriarch of our family and always did a great job keeping in touch with other family members. My brother John and I would go to dinner with Michael at least once a quarter and we are going to miss our times together. The photo was my 40th birthday party with Michael, my brother John and Michael's brother Mark. As you can see, there was much joy and laughter when we got together.
