Michael D. "Dee" McKethan

Mr. Michael Deshann McKethan was born on May 26, 1972 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC. He was a disabled veteran.
He attended public schools in Fayetteville, NC, Hanau Germany, and Fort Bragg, NC, graduating from E.E. Smith High School in 1990. He joined the military where he was in the medical field. After the military he held various positions in the medical field. He attended Fayetteville State University.
He loved football and basketball. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and Duke.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. James Behlin and Mr. Dana Davis. Grandparents, Joseph and Katie McKethan, Homer and Estelle Behlin.
He leaves to mourn one daughter Kaianna Deon McKethan; a devoted former wife Shawanna McKethan; parents H. James and Christianna McKethan Behlin; one brother Mr. Michael Pearson of Washington, DC; one uncle who was like a brother, his namesake Mr. Michael McKethan; eight aunts Ms. Pauline Smith of Pemberton, NJ, Joanne Carter of Charlotte, NC, Christine Haywood, Carolyn McKethan, Jean King of Fayetteville, NC, Daisey Crump of Columbia, SC, Pearlene (Ferrel) Moore of Varnville, SC, and Alice Behlin of Hampton, SC; a host of cousins whom he had special relationships with and friends both are too numerous to name.
